ACA Expands State Director Program

In order to continue to support paddlers in New Mexico, the ACA is expanding the successful State Director Program and are calling for volunteers who are interested in improving all aspects of paddlesports in New Mexico. To learn more about the State Director program, please visit: www.americancanoe.org/StateDirector or contact Christine Mollo Patun.

Through the State Director program, the ACA has provided support for the Adobe Whitewater Club to conduct pool sessions in Albuquerque, supported us on multiple river access protection issues including supporting protection of the Gila and river access, helped us to provide ACA Kayak Instructor Certification at a heavily discounted rate to promote kayak education and execution of our clinics, financial funding to improve relationships and river access at the Bernalillo Campground, among others.

The Adobe Whitewater Club of NM is proud to announce that we have joined the New Mexico Stream Access Coalition! The American Canoe Association (ACA) has also joined in supporting the NMSAC.
